Hello everybody, I just wanted to let you all know that I’m back in California! I hadn’t taken my summer vacations yet, so I’m using up my vacation time to go home for a couple of weeks.
I’m still shocked at how much vacation time I have in Spain (a month per year, and a ton of holidays). Plus, because I work for a website I can work from anywhere in the world, as long as I have internet access. This beautiful combination adds up to a lot of travel time.
I’m looking forward to spending some time soaking up the California sun and getting to see lots of people I miss. The flight there is a beast (my itinerary said 18 ½ hours of just flight time), but it’s definitely worth it.
Also, every time I go to California I have to listen to this song:
And yes, life in California is just like an extended episode of The O.C. Except when it’s like Baywatch, of course.

Thanks! SoCal where I grew up. Disneyland first then we have a hotel in Venice that gets mostly good reviews on Trip Advisor. I thought it would be nice to be by the beach for L.A. touring purposes. where are you?
