Hello everyone! I’m a tiiiiny bit late on my regular Where in Spain Wednesday post because I had an unexpectedly busy evening.  Still, I’m here!

Barcelona-Passeig-de-Gracia-Gaudi-Casa_Batllo

Barcelona’s Passeig de Gràcia is the poshest street in the city. It’s filled with designer shops, fancy hotels, and expensive restaurants. But my favorite part of this street is the architectural details, like these beautiful buildings or the hidden bats.

I chose this particular photo today because it shows Gaudí’s Casa Batlló (on the right) and Josep Puig i Cadafalch’s Casa Amatller (on the left) on a rainy day in Barcelona. Sadly, today was another rainy day and very chilly. I had a college alumni reunion tonight, and it somehow kept coming up how much I hate the cold! So I’m trying to remind myself that sometimes cold rainy days can show off a prettier, softer side of the city…

Still, I’m pretty fed up of my winter coat at this point. Come on, primavera!

Besos!
