As this week’s Where in Spain Wednesday happens to be on Christmas day, I thought it was only appropriate to share a holiday picture from Barcelona – the cars zooming by Plaça Catalunya with my favorite light display of this year.
For more holiday fun about Barcelona, I’ve got a bunch of posts about how the season is celebrated in my favorite city:
- What To Do in Barcelona at Christmas Time
- Photos: Wrapping Up the Holidays from Barcelona to California
- And a special holiday playlist of MyBarcelona episodes about the Christmas decorations, the special Christmas sweets, and the oddest Christmas traditions in Catalonia.
Of course, I’m not actually celebrating the holidays in Barcelona – I’m at home in the warm with my family in California. Much as I love Barcelona, nothing beats lying outside in the sun in the middle of December with a lovely stack of freshly unwrapped Christmas books (followed by an enormous turkey dinner).
Merry Christmas and happy holidays to everyone, and I hope your holiday season is going as well as mine is!
Besos!

Merry Christmas!
Same to you! 🙂
Hope you have a fab holiday! I’d kill to be lying out in the sunshine right now! 😉 Massive turkey dinner – check 😉

I am only now recovering from the insane amounts of tryptophan I ingested at Christmas dinner. 😀
Wonderful! I can’t wait to go back to Barcelona 🙂
