Hello everybody! I’ve been so jet-lagged I haven’t been posting much lately, but here’s my regular Where in Spain Wednesday post – a bit later than usual, as California is 9 hours behind Spain.
This is the beautiful Plaza del Triunfo in Sevilla. The plaza itself is stunning, but the view of the cathedral and the castle you get from the plaza makes it a truly astonishing place. When I studied abroad in Sevilla, I liked to sit in this pretty plaza sometimes and eat my lunch.
I snapped these two horses who were all dressed up for the Feria de Abril this year. They were waiting around in the plaza to pick up some sevillanas in their ruffled flamenco dresses and whisk them off to the fair. It looked like so much fun!
Besos!

You know I was sevillana in my past life, so I LOVE this! Since the white is such a contrast to the salmon of the Palacio del Arzobispo, the colors stand out. And, yes, riding aruond in a horse carriage during or even to the fair is a delight!!
Thanks! Riding in the carriages looks like such a blast, especially if you get to get all dressed up in a traje de flamenca to do it.
