So now that I’m on my first trip away from Barcelona (I’m in England this week! Happy birthday, Grandma!), I’ll write a bit about my new home.

I live in a great flat with five other people right around the corner from this cool building below. Which also happens to be pretty close to some other amazing stuff – I’m so happy with my new living situation! The only downside is lots of my flatmates leave in a couple weeks as the school year is up, so I hope my future flatmates will be just as cool.

This week was pretty light on the partying as I had a cold, but I’m definitely close to being in full-on going out until sunrise form. And in the absence of partying I’ve watched a couple of super interesting documentaries and practiced my photography, so it’s been a good week.

Also, I came across an interesting description of my new town on Urban Dictionary: “An anarchic nightclub by the Mediterranean Coast. The largest bar in the world, serving alcoholic drinks 24 hours throughout an area of over 100 square km. Inside it people live and have private properties.” Great place to live…or greatest place to live?

Anyway, back to my tea! Coming installments: my trip to England and the hunt for una reproducción de la bandera republicana.
